Israel Tourism Update

"The Accidental Israeli Tourist"
Gordon Johnson is not a name familiar to many Jewish Australians but in the backblocks of Australia and New Zealand, Scottish born Gordon Johnson, 70, who is a Christian educator is well known as one of Israel's most energetic and enthusiastic advocates.

During the past 25 years Gordon has lectured about Israel at countless schools, churches and clubs in hamlets, small towns and cities all over Australasia. He has a real passion for Israel and has inspired thousands Australians and New Zealanders to share his enthusiasm for Israel.

In 1998 The Israel Ministry of Tourism honoured Gordon as the first individual Australian recipient of the Israel Tourism Award and in 1998 he made his fourth trip to Israel sponsored by the Israel Ministry of Tourism and El AL.

In November 2003 Gordon returned from an extensive trip to Israel and Jordan, at his own expense and has produced an incredible CD which includes 560 photos and maps from his journey.

The CD includes many fine photos of Israel taken by Gordon from Eilat to Rosh Hanikra,
all labeled and explained with a musical background. The photos can be displayed for educational purposes or downloaded for publications.

Gordon is selling his CD at cost. It can be purchased for $25 + postage and packaging.

For any organisation seeking good pictorial material on Israel Gordon's CD "A Journey to the Holy Land-Jordan and Israel" is an invaluable resource for Christian and Jewish groups alike.
