Survey of the Australian Jewish Community

Assessing the impact of assimilation

The Jewish Agency of Israel, together with the Zionist Federation of Australia, is conducting a survey of the Australian Jewish Community to address the crisis facing World Jewry today - the continuing decline of its population due to assimilation.

The survey aims to better understand community needs, connections to Israel and the level of Jewishness within different communities.

It has a specific focus on migrant groups coming to Australia from:
- South Africa
- the former USSR
- Israel

ALL Australian Jews are welcome to participate.

Participate in the survey by clicking on www.setpurr.com

and click on the "surveys" button on the top left hand side of the web page.

The survey is anonymous (unless you decide otherwise).
We do not use ant tracking software and have no way of knowing who has or has not responded.

If you have any questions or concerns please email Yula Geredov who is the research assistant for this project. Phone contact 0403 491 927.

The survey was designed by:
Associate Professor Suzanne Rutland, Chair of the Department of Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies at The University of Sydney
and
Dr Antonio (Tony) Gariano, the principal of Setpurr.com Social Research & Analysis.

The survey aims to collect the relevant information, in particular from these three migrant groups on behalf of the Jewish Agency of Israel and the Zionist Federation of Australia.

Please feel free to pass the survey information on to all your friends and relatives.
