Australian Family Haggadah

A FAMILY HAGGADAH

(Prayer Book for the Passover Seder meal)

The new Family Haggadah is an Australian product which can be used in any household.

The concept is a world first, since it is a complete guide to the Passover Ceremony
-

A Family Haggadah was conceived and produced to make the important Passover Ceremony accessible and meaningful to successive generations.

It is particularly useful for those embarking on the adventure of hosting a Passover Ceremony for the first time and for families with children.

It encourages people to consider the relevance of Passover for today's world.

Passover is essentially a festival of Freedom and the book raises questions of Slavery versus Freedom, asking questions such as … "At what other times were Jews persecuted or discriminated against by other people?" and "Do you know of any groups of people who suffer from persecution and discrimination today?" Other issues such as understanding terrorism are also raised.

This Haggadah is a special contribution to Passover in its unique presentation and packaging.

The service is easy to follow, the Hebrew accessible and it has been beautifully illustrated by children of the King David School in Melbourne, with real flowers adorning many of the Hebrew letters.

The text of the Haggadah was interpreted and edited by Emeritus Rabbi John Levi.

This modern Haggadah for our times has been well received in Australia, with many orders coming from the U.S. and U.K. and beyond.
