  Passover COOKBOOK

A Family Haggadah was conceived and produced to make the important Passover Ceremony accessible and meaningful to successive generations.

It is particularly useful for those embarking on the adventure of hosting a Passover Ceremony for the first time and for families with children.

It encourages people to consider the relevance of Passover for today's world.

Passover is essentially a festival of Freedom and the book raises questions of Slavery versus Freedom, asking questions such as … "At what other times were Jews persecuted or discriminated against by other people?" and "Do you know of any groups of people who suffer from persecution and discrimination today?" Other issues such as understanding terrorism are also raised.

This Haggadah is a special contribution to Passover in its unique presentation and packaging.
The service is easy to follow, the Hebrew accessible and it has been beautifully illustrated by children of the King David School in Melbourne, with real flowers adorning many of the Hebrew letters. The text of the Haggadah is interpreted and edited by Emeritus Rabbi John Levi.

Tho cookbook of 97 Passover recipes compiled by Naomi Tippett gives you a taste of the many ways of preparing a Passover meal.

There are recipes from all over the world - Ashkenazi recipes, Sephardic recipes and suggestions for preparing a Vegetarian Seder.

The cookbook also explains how to prepare the table for Passover and the meaning of the six sections of the Seder plate.

This modern Haggadah for our times has been well received in Australia, with orders coming from the U.S. and U.K. and beyond.

CD of all the songs of Passover
The CD comprises 23 Passover songs sung by the choirs of the King David School in Melbourne and the Emanuel School in Sydney and Cantor Brett Kaye with lively musical arrangements by Julian Duband.

Listeners will find this CD a special musical experience. Most songs also appear with accompaniment only, allowing the family to play the CD in their actual Passover as a kind of 'Pesach Karaoke.' Included with the CD is a 32 page booklet with the words to all the songs.
