Event Description
MTÜ Pimedate Ööde Film Festival is the only FIAPF-accredited competitive feature film Festival in Northern Europe.PÖFF is one of the largest film festivals in Northern and Eastern Europe – since 2014, one of the world's 14 Category A film festivals, recognized by the prestigious International Federation of Film Producers' Unions. The same category also includes the Venice, Cannes and Berlin Film Festivals.
The festival's program features approximately 250 feature films and 300 short films from around the world each year – it is a true film festival that brings over 1,500 foreign guests to Estonia in November and attracts more than 90,000 visitors.
